With the new Apple changes rolling out shortly, there hasn’t been a lot of information on what you need to do to prepare for this change.

One thing we do know however, is that you absolutely must register your domain name. I am attending a Facebook Partners seminar next week which will give more information on why this is so important, but for now, you just need to do it.

So, here’s the how to – it’s pretty easy, the last step might require your web developer to give you a hand, but it should be a pretty quick job!

How to verify your domain on Facebook

Firstly, head to your Facebook Business Manager and select ‘Business Settings’ as highlighted in blue.

You’ll then want to scroll down the menu bar on the left hand side and look for ‘Brand Safety’ – click on Domains underneath.

It’ll then show up this on the right hand side – I had to delete mine to show you. Dedication right there. Click the ‘Add’ button.

Enter in your domain and click ‘Add Domain’

Now this is the slightly tricky part. You need to update your DNS settings on your site, you can do this yourself, or you might need to contact your hosting or web developer. Unfortunately, this step is not something I can help you with.

And there you have it! All done, and one step closer to being prepared for the new changes. We know that Facebook is always changing so if you want to stay updated sign up to our newsletter and you’ll never miss out on important updates!
