Do you know what your competition does on Facebook or Instagram? Do you know how often they send emails to their database? Do you know how often they blog?
No? Then you need to become a semi-obsessed stalker, find out what your competition is doing, and make sure you are doing a better job. Don’t like their style? Make it your own. Don’t feel the timing matches your market? Change it. Did they mess up? Learn from their mistakes!
Don’t copy them. No one likes a copy-cat and it won’t get you anywhere in the long run. You need to embrace your brand and your target market, but it is wise to know what you are up against so you are prepared!
